Wilma C. Sullivan

Wilma C. Sullivan, age 88, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on November 17, 2025. She was born in Williamson County on August 5, 1937, to the late Perry and Edith Bradford Beard. Wilma was a hardworking woman with a generous heart. She spent 25 years at Durango Boot before later working at Nukote. She eventually left work to lovingly care for her mother during her illness, a decision that truly reflected her devotion to family.

Wilma was gifted with her hands and had a passion for crocheting, making the softest dishrags and the sweetest baby clothes that family and friends treasured. She was known for her exceptional cooking, especially her famous pumpkin rolls. At times, she would make hundreds of them for a cousin who sold them at horse shows, and each one was made with the same care and love.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her cousins, Mary Ladd and Ruth Ragsdale.

Those left to cherish Wilma’s memory are her several cousins and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with Ricky Ragsdale, Jacob Ragsdale, Darrell Ragsdale, Jimmy Cole, Troy Smithson, and Chase Yancy serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Daugherty, Doyl Beard, Randy York, Nancy Bruce, Robert Anglin, and Austin Cole. The family will receive friends an hour and a half prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Betty Cason, Rheva Curtis, Paige Puckett, Patti Watkins, the staff at The Goldton, and Caris Hospice.
